Chalfont New Britain Fire Company
Chalfont Fire Company: A Volunteer Legacy
Who We Are
Chalfont Fire Company is a proud, all-volunteer organization welcoming members aged 16 and up. Our dedicated firefighters are trained in fire suppression, rescue operations, and, since 2017, marine rescue. With over 130 volunteers, our team includes active firefighters, general members, auxiliary supporters, fire police, and veteran life members—those who’ve served over 20 years and earned our deepest respect.
Firefighting is a family tradition here. Many of our members are second- or third-generation volunteers, carrying forward a legacy of service to the Chalfont community.
Where We Serve
From our two stations—Station 34 and Station 74—we cover Chalfont Borough, New Britain Borough, and New Britain Township. Station 34 has called 301 N. Main Street home since June 2011, while Station 74 has operated from 1034 Schoolhouse Road since its establishment in the 1980s. Beyond our primary areas, we provide mutual aid to neighboring communities, including Doylestown, Warrington, Hilltown, and Montgomery Township.
Our members aren’t just responders—they’re your neighbors, deeply rooted in the local community.
